So yesterday I saw a flock of birds, flying in that triangle-point formation, headed south. As this is early August, I was rather surprised. This got me wondering, "now why the heck did they decide to fly there now?!"

Is this like a practice run? Too many new transfers to the flock, so they have to do a trial run?

Did they decide to beat the crowds, head out early? get the Good Tree this year?

Do birds have travel agents who set this all up for them?

Yes these are lame thoughts but hey, I'm lame today.

This is just the first post... hopefully I won't get any lamer :)
